Welcome Home is managed by a collective of professionals within the Health and Wellbeing, IT, Arts and Creative Industries who have come together to support our island community through and beyond the COVID-19 crisis. Our mission is to develop an online community well-being hub that acts as a central platform where all of Guernsey’s residents can simply, effectively and freely access online and offline offerings made by individuals, groups and organisations in their local community. We aim to act as a key piece of online infrastructure that connects islanders with their community, by providing direct access to resources and information relating to community events, arts and creativity, music, mental wellbeing, physical activity, spirituality and more. The Welcome Home online hub is also designed to work in close partnership with the community to help identify and respond to the direct needs of individual islanders (such as those in self-isolation) in order to provide much needed social connection and access to appropriate resources and community offerings that can support wellbeing.
