Channel Islands Data Service Ltd is a Guernsey based and Guernsey registered company created by Stuart Ayres. It was registered in March 2006 and has rapidly grown to become the leading supplier of credit reference information in the channel islands. It collects and collates Court judgment information on individuals in Guernsey (inc Sark and Alderney), Jersey and Isle of Man. It also offers a large array of other data such as disqualified directors, en-desastre, saisie, restricted individuals, Financial Sanctions and CAIS data, as well as a number of other credit related and AML/CDD services. The company has offices in Market Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey with experienced staff with backgrounds in banking and finance. In 2007 CIDS expanded its services to include debt recovery in Guernsey, taking cases through court where necessary. This has proved a valuable and popular service for many - servicing both large corporate financial services companies as well as individuals, small companies, non residents and tradesmen. This area of the business has expanded to include debtor tracing (all jurisdictions) and process serving (Guernsey only). In 2013 development began on our KYC/CDD mobile App, including patent applications, that reads digital information from ID documents of the relevant ISO standard and processes the information without transcription.
