The Guernsey Sports Commission [GSC] is a charitable organisation set up in 2004 to promote physical activity and sport in Guernsey, Channel Islands. The GSC offer a number of programmes which are run throughout the year which offer people of all ages the opportunity to participate in different activities. The GSC also deliver a number initiatives which are run on an annual or bi-annual analysis, which encompasses sports development at the grass roots level as well as a supporting those Rising Stars who represent the island in national competitions. The GSC have a number of member sports who have the necessary mechanisms in place to allow individuals of all ages to take part in their sport.
