We encourage and advise our clients to consider the use of construction technology and sustainability in order to minimise environmental impact and optimise energy efficiency. Our designs are individual and do not resort to a particular architectural style. We work in response to the particularities of a site and the use of local materials where relevant so that our schemes adapt to their location. We aim to create a bridge between the past and the future, bringing together the historic and the contemporary. We bring a craftsman-like approach to all aspects of the building process and our respect for traditional techniques does not hinder us from using modern materials and techniques where their use is sustainable. We use simple sketches, drawings, physical or three dimensional CAD models and animations to explore and refine our designs, translating these schemes into reality. Architecture is more than just fulfilling the brief or meeting particular functional requirements, however important these may be. It is also concerned with people and the creation of something unique.
